Ian & Jan Kennedy again welcome you into East Gippsland. We
hope you enjoy our hospitality and country roads whilst having a safe ride in
our “Fifth Gippsland Classic Rally“.
This years
run starts in Maffra at “The
Maffra Shed“..
Friday Night.. 8th Feb.
We will meet at the Maffra Community Sports Club
in the main Street for a Counter meal
(At
your own cost) & get the week end off
to a good start.
This
venue has just been enlarged & is on the same side of the street as the
Motel & a bit closer
than the other hotel who have now put a 5% Surcharge on, for Credit card use.
Saturday
9th Feb .
Assemble
at “The Maffra Shed” at 10:00
am for a briefing and depart at 10:30 am for a ride to Dargo, via
Fernbank. No Toilets available on the way
up to Dargo 110

Brian
Madigan will give a Talk on Dargo & visit the Dargo Museum, (Gold coin
donation.)
Returning for afternoon tea at the
Quarries and Jan’s favourite Anzac Biscuits
Arriving
back at Maffra around 4.00 pm . 120

Saturday Nights Dinner
We will be guests of the Maffra - Sale
Motorcycle Club for dinner at their clubrooms Morison St, Maffra at 6.30 pm. (BYO drinks )
Rally
mementos will be handed out at the dinner.
Sunday 10th Feb Run starts at 8.00 am
Riders
to assemble at the Maffra
Shed and we ride to Gormandale for breakfast . 63 Klms.
After
breakfast, approximately 9:30 am, We
ride on to Carrajung, and
around to Tara / Bulga National Parks situated just Sth of the
Grand Ridge Rd. 60 Klms
This is the park visit
that you missed out on visiting in 2007.
We will
go for a short walk through the lush
tree ferns of the rain forest & a 300 year old giant mountain ash Forest & ancient Myrtle
Beech trees etc.
A cup
of tea or coffee will be available after the walk.
Then back to Maffra via Balook, Loy Yang & Rosedale (60Klms)
Lunch Stop at Rosedale will be
at your own expense.
or you can return straight to
Maffra and pack up early to go home. 100
Klms.
(Rosedale has a couple of Café’s,
a Bakery & two hotels.)
A lot more than what Maffra will
have open on a Sunday Afternoon.
Declaration
The owner/s of the motorcycle/s or outfit/s
entered and the rider/s thereof and passengers whilst participating in the
event shall do so on condition that they shall have no claim whatsoever against
the "Classic Motorcycle Club of Victoria Inc." or the committee
thereof or the sponsors of the event or their respective officials, servants or
agents for any personal injuries or damage to the vehicle entered whether or
not the same shall be caused by or contributed to by any act or omission or
negligence on the part of the "Classic Motorcycle Club of Victoria
Inc." or the committee there of or the sponsors of the event or any of
their respective officials, servants or agents.
Any conditions not governed by the regulations of the event will be
adjudicated upon by the Club Committee, and/or the event organisers, whose decision
shall be final.
Special
Conditions
All motorcycles must be roadworthy and be
either on limited registration or full road registration and all riders must be
the holder of a current motorcycle rider's licence.
I agree to wear a fully approved helmet at all
times whilst riding in the event.
I agree to abide by the regulations of the
event and all the instructions of the Club Committee and Marshals, and all road
and traffic laws including speed limits, by-laws and regulations and to show
due courtesy to all users of the roads.
I acknowledge that I am bound by all the
conditions of this entry form and that all the information supplied by me here
on is true and correct.
