“Over the Top by Default Rally”
March 16th to 19th 2012.
Friday 16th 9.30/10am Departure. We will leave Bill Mc Kibbin’s property, 2 Ferrier Road New Gisborne. After Morning tea that has kindly been supplied by Bill and Leslie. Anyone wishing to leave vehicles at this property can do so.
Yea is the lunch destination before heading to Bright via Whitfield.
*Note … Should you choose not to start from New Gisborne, a good meeting point would be Yea at midday. Anyone that wants to travel direct to, or home from Bright is welcome to do so.
Friday evening. We have a hotel booked for a meet and greet meal together.
Saturday 17th 8.15/8.30am start The River Ride: We will be traveling the river road again, from a different way with morning tea at Granya then onto Jingellic for lunch before returning to Bright. Total Km’s 368 approx.
Sunday 8.45/9.00am start The High Country Ride: This is the one cancelled last year. Morning tea at Mount Beauty, then via Falls Creek to the ‘Blue Duck Hotel’ at Anglers Rest for lunch and back to Bright via Omeo, Dinner Plain and Hotham Heights. Total 320 Km’s approx.
Sunday we also have a venue booked for a farewell evening meal and drinks together.
Monday 19th We will be travelling as a group back to New Gisborne, anyone who chooses to go their own way home is welcome to do so just let someone know that you are.
There will NOT be a bus of any type supplied, anyone choosing to travel by car may do so.
This event is set around Classic Motorcycles, and their capabilities, if you are riding a modern motorcycle you may be requested to corner marshal.
A back up trailer will be available should we encounter any break downs.
This is going to be a “riders weekend” the distances have been stated ,so you have plenty of time to make sure that your Classic Motorcycle is in top working order to avoid disappointment.

Those who participated in the Beechworth Bonanza receive free entry to this event due to the cancellation of the Tuesday ride and other incidentals.
ALL entrants shall pre pay for Saturday and Sunday’s lunch on the entry form.
Three morning teas are supplied.
All other meals are at your cost.
