“Over the Top by Default Rally” - March 2012. Info No.2
As you are aware Bill Garner and I have started planning this event for the 16th ,17th ,18th &19th of March next year, so far we have the starting point, the rides and places of accommodation worked out.
Friday 16th - We will start at Bill & Leslie Mc Kibbin’s property New Gisborne, 10am departure, for lunch at Yea then travel through Whitfield and onto Bright as our base.
Saturday 17th - The high country ride having lunch at the famous Blue Duck Hotel Anglers Rest then onto Omeo and return via Hotham Heights to Bright approximately 350 km .
Sunday 18th - We will be travelling the River Road again from a different approach and having lunch at Jingellic before returning to Bright, approximately 340 km.
Monday 19th - A leisurely ride home.
Should anyone choose to meet the group at Yea, midday Friday ( lunch destination ) or travel to and/ or return from Bright separately that is your choice.
We will be running a backup trailer but there will NOT be a mini bus, you are welcome to take your car.
Morning teas will be supplied Friday, Saturday & Sunday. All other meals are at your expense.
The club is intending to use the** Riverbank Park Motel** as its main venue and starting point for the rides.
You're accommodation is your responsibility … I suggest if you intend coming BOOK NOW.

Rally entry forms will be in the November Sprocket, those who participated in the Beechworth Bonanza receive free entry due to the Tuesday ride cancellation. To others entry will be $20 bike and rider, $10 pillion.
