Ballarat's Springtime Bask 19&20 Sept 2009

The Saturday ride being the bigger of the two days will have a 9 AM roll up and enter for a
9:30 AM start.
After looking at many different starting points it was decided that we would revert to the
usual starting point at the Buninyong town hall, when you arrive please look for Bruce
Armfield as he is in charge of taking the entries.
This ride will be 208 km in total, it will be a fairly casual sort of day, and the first leg will be 60
Km where we will have a half an hour break, toilet stop, coffee, smoke or whatever .The
Second leg is to our lunch destination that will be 75km, these two distances don't seem very
far however we will be travelling a long some beautiful winding, heavily timbered country
roads that are just spectacular on motorcycles.
The next stage of the ride is 53 km, to a small town where we will have an afternoon stop,
we should be to this destination by about 2.30- 3 PM .So those of you who would like to just
relax or have a wander around can do so, at this point we will be only about 20 km from
Ballarat so if you wish, and when you are ready, can just head back from this point.

Saturday night we have reserved tables at the Sebastopol Bowling club for those who would
like to come along and join us for a meal together, Vic roads Page 572.A5, Albert Street
(Midland Highway A 300).

Sunday is a short ride 136 km with a 9:30 AM roll up for a 10 AM start, at Buninyong once
again. This time we will be heading south down through the Stafford shire reef which is a
lovely ride. However, please be warned, a fair part of the first leg is only one car wide
bitumen so PLEASE BE ALERT. We should be back in Buninyong about 12:00 midday, to
enjoy a sausage sizzle and chocolates together, so as you can see this will be an enjoyable
morning and you can be on your way home nice and early.

PLEASE…. we need the numbers for Saturday night dinner, so we can reserve the seats and
guarantee that you have one, could you ASAP please ring, Burger or Margaret 53303955
