COLAC SECTION
17th COLAC WEEKEND RIDE
2nd and 3rd of May 2009
The Colac Section of the CMCCV invites members to come and enjoy a weekend of Classic Motorcycling.
Saturday Run
Riders assemble at the Lake Colac boat-launching ramp from 9:30am. To get there from the Melbourne side, cross the Barongarook Creek Bridge, turn right into Queen Street, continue to the “T” intersection and turn right again. Today is the main run day. We will have a cuppa then depart at 10:30am for a ride through the farming areas of Cobden and Timboon. We will have lunch at the Schomberg Inn Hotel at Peterborough on the coast. We will return to Colac via Port Campbell, then inland up through the Heytesbury. Ride distance today is just over 200km.
Saturday Evening
Dinner tonight is at the Union Club Hotel, 110 Murray St. Colac, at 6.30pm
Sunday Run
Meet again at the boat launching ramp at 9:00am. We will be leaving at 9:30am. Today’s ride will be around 100km, returning to Colac to have lunch at a local eatery.
General Information
There is an entry fee of $5.00 for bike and rider, payable on the day.
We will have a lead rider, corner marshals and a back-up trailer.
All meals are at the rider’s expense.

Declaration
The owner/s of the motorcycle/s or outfit/s entered and the rider/s thereof and passengers whilst participating in the event shall do so on condition that they shall have no claim whatsoever against the "Classic Motorcycle Club of Victoria Inc." or the committee thereof or the sponsors of the event or their respective officials, servants or agents for any personal injuries or damage to the vehicle entered whether or not the same shall be caused by or contributed to by any act or omission or negligence on the part of the "Classic Motorcycle Club of Victoria Inc." or the committee thereof or the sponsors of the event or any of their respective officials, servants or agents. Any conditions not governed by the regulations of the event will be adjudicated upon by the Club Committee, and/or the event organisers, whose decision shall be final.
Special Conditions
All motorcycles must be roadworthy and be either on limited registration or full road registration and all riders must be the holder of a current motorcycle rider's licence.
I agree to wear a fully approved helmet at all times whilst riding in the event.
I agree to abide by the regulations of the event and all the instructions of the Club Committee and Marshals, and all road and traffic laws including speed limits, by-laws and regulations and to show due courtesy to all users of the roads.
