SWITZERLAND RANGES RUN SUNDAY NOV.25th
This year we’ll be taking a different initial route. Instead
of going via Broadford (as posted last month) or Whittlesea (as usual) we will
travel via St Andrews, Kinglake Central then Kinglake
West. The Old Corner Garage at Kinglake West is no more. Well not for bikes
anyway. We will have a short re-group at
the toilet stop in Kinglake West before
resuming our usual route up through Flowerdale, Strath Creek, onto Kerrisdale
and over to the Goulburn Valley Highway riding on for another regroup at the
Ghin Ghin turn off. A run up to Highlands and a scenic
ride across the ranges and down to Yark for lunch. After lunch we’ll ride along the Maroondah
Highway toYea to our final re-group outside the
toilet block next to the bowling club. Here some members may wish to peel off
and return home down the Melba highway via Yarra Glen. The main group, with the
back-up trailer, will travel over Junction Hill, back down through Flowerdale
and returning to Yarrambat via Whittlesea. As usual moderns appreciated for marshall
duties.

8:30 for a 9;am start. Room
for trailers. Fruit cake, bikkies and a cuppa at the start to make up for no
morning tea stop.
