ANNUAL CLUB RUN TO FEDERATION PICNIC AT MARONG

SUNDAY AUGUST 28th

Meet: Shell Servo, Cnr Mickleham Rd and International Drive,

Gladstone Park, (Mel Ref: 5J9)

Time:  8:30 for 9:00am start

Lead Rider: Reg Hammond

Where to: First leg up through Wildwood, Romsey and Lancefield then onto Heathcote for morning tea (approx.90klms).

Second leg: To Marong via Bendigo (approx.62klms.)

On arrival at Marong those on classic bikes will be allowed in the display area free of charge and our classics can then be positioned behind a rope among the Bendigo Motorcycle Club display area.

A time will then be nominated for our return.

Always plenty of classic and vintage bikes, cars and machinery at the Marong Show.

Our return route will be down the old Calder Highway calling in at Harcourt (approx.34klms) for a fuel top up.

Our final run (of approx. 96 klms.) will be down the New Calder Highway to our break up point at the large servo at Calder Park opposite the Calder Raceway arriving at approx. 3:30 to 4:00 pm.

Total distance from start point to break up approx. 282klms.
