Before setting off on this Sunday mornings run, our Leader, Reg and Bridy sadly announced that this was the last ride from their home of 35 years in Yarrambat.  The weather was perfect as 28 riders set off Yan Yean Road.  Right turn at Doreen and up to Nutfield, Arthurs Creek and Cottles Bridge a lovely ride through a very nice piece of country and we were blessed with little or no traffic.  On to the infamous Kinglake Road through St Andrews and up to Kinglake for a regroup stop while we awaited the back-up group with their rider and bike that had fortunately had a spill with no injuries or serious damage.

Off again for Kinglake West  with a quick stop for our leader to make a refreshing pause and  then off again to Flowerdale and a left turn toward Strath Creek.  We are down in the flats now and it is warming up.  On arrival in Strath Creek we had a stop to announce a slight schedule change with lunch at Yea the next stop.

After lunch it was off again to Molesworth and Yaark, where we turned and headed up into the Switzerland ranges passing Gobur and Terip with a stop at the Highlands for a look round at the mini Stone Henge and other sites.  A few photos were taken  and then back to Yea for a stop while some of us filled up our tanks before continuing over the Whittlesea Road to our return to Yarrambat and the end of another terrific day.  Well done Reg; Most enjoyable,  thanks to your organizing.
