Membership renewal time is here again, and by the time this edition of Sprocket arrives in the mail most of you will have received your renewal form.

Please keep in mind that your Club membership must be current to enable you to use your “red plated” bike on the road. Club Permit Scheme registrations are only valid if your Club membership is current.  Therefore, it is important to keep your membership up to date.

The Club makes every effort to keep the membership records as accurate as possible, but it is inevitable that errors creep in over time.  Membership renewal time is a good opportunity to improve accuracy of the records by receiving up to date information directly from our members and I will appreciate your cooperation in correcting any errors.  So please take time to check your details printed on the form and correct them if necessary before sending it back with your subscription for the coming year.

Please pay particular attention to the red plate registrations listed against your name and make sure that only red plate registrations made through the Classic Club appear on the list.  Some of you will have gained new “red plate” registrations since renewal last year and I would appreciate these being listed if they are not already on the form.  In a few cases I am missing some details of your “red plated” bikes and this will be indicated by question marks, eg C-XXXX - 19?? Triumph Mod ??.  Please fill in the missing information before sending it back.  Please also delete details of any “red plate” bike that you have disposed of during the year.

As a carry over from last year a space is included for your email address. Providing your email address is completely voluntary and it will not be passed onto a third party.

Mobile phones are an excellent method of contacting members when required and a space has added to this year’s renewal form for your mobile phone number. If the Club has your mobile phone number on record it will appear in this space.  Providing your mobile phone number is completely voluntary and it will not be passed onto a third party.

Sprocket has the capacity to contain more paid advertising and space is available for members to advertise their business. A spot has been included in the renewal form for members to indicate if they want to take up this offer.

Finally, please remember to sign the form and have it witnessed before returning it.
