February has once again been a good month for the club with the very successful Eight Gippsland Maffra Rally.
This year the attendance was once again very good and I believe the number was somewhere around sixty motorcycles, it was very well organized and run as you would expect from Ian and Jan plus their team of helpers, the rides were very scenic and the atmosphere was very laid-back and casual which makes for a top weekend.
On to a few little club matters, a couple members have brought to my attention the quality of some photos in the sprocket, copycat printers that print our newsletter have the latest up to date printing equipment available, we have discussed this with them and are well assured they do their very utmost.
However you must remember that they can only reproduce the same quality that we have supplied them with, in other words photos supplied that have been taken with mobile phones or cameras that are older or with low pixel will give a much lesser quality reproduction, so please bear that in mind. I know from experience they try and also do their utmost for us.
Due to the amount of activity we have planned for the club this year the committee has decided that we will not run a brass monkey rally this year. As well as our 40th Anniversary Rally which is only a few weeks away, we are also planning a very big event in November then in December a totally different type of Christmas break up at our club rooms.
So taking all of that into consideration along with the Three Rivers Run, Marong, Ballarat Bask, Surf City Safari and The High Country Muster we still have plenty happening to keep you riding.
