It is with pleasure that I deliver my Annual Report to the Club and To comment on the current health of the Club. It has in some ways been a difficult year. The Global Economic Crises Has in some way had an influence on all of us.Some to a greater extent Than others. This is a happening that none of us expected and will take some Time to resolve. The other major happening were the catastrophic Fires in February the result Of which the State suffered and enormous loss of life and over 2000 houses Destroyed.I was very proud of the support that the Club gave to several appeals Either by attending events or financial support. We have reached the end of our Club year in good shape. Our Membership is Running at a figure in excess of 320 members with a steady flow of new Members. There is no doubt that the Club's Website has increased the interest in the Club From enthusiasts which will have a long term benefit. The Club has had a good number of runs of various sorts together with several Rallies during the year.I am pleased to report that we have several new Rallies Coming up in the future such as Ballarat and Inverloch.Your Committee is always aware that we have to keep building on the events that we hold to try and offer An interesting spread of events. We try and offer something for everyone. During The year Graeme Randall retired after many years of devoted service To the Club as Treasurer and was suitably thanked by the Club at a recent meeting. We welcome Jolyon Dunn as the new Treasurer and I am sure he will do an Exceptional job in the future. The Committee is actively keeping an eye on Our finances to give the members the best value for their Subs without Affecting the quality of the various aspects of Club Life. There are many people who have made a significant contribution to the Club during the past year.I will not go through a list now but without you and your enthusiasm We would not survive. Thank you for your support and encouragement during this past year. I wish Paul and the new Committee every good wish for the next year.
Yours, David Langridge
