The Southern Classic was at Broadford on 24th-25th October. The event is conducted by The Historic Motorcycle Racing Association of Victoria. HMRAV was established in 1979 by a group of vintage racing enthusiasts. Since then, they have been promoting and organizing vintage motorcycling racing events throughout Victoria and are held at track locations including: Winton, Broadford, Phillip Island, as well as a couple of hill climb circuits.

Classic racing solo and sidecar machines, such as Norton, Triumph, AJS, Ducati, Arial, BSA, Vincent, Benelli are among a long list of brands participating at this years Southern Classic.
